Tryouts will run for the 2024-2025 Club Season starting September 15th, 2024. Details for all age groups are listed below.

Tryouts will consist of 2 evaluation sessions.
Athletes are encouraged to attend both sessions.
Upon completion of tryout evaluations, Vertical Limit coaches and club staff will contact successful athletes with an offer to join Vertical Limit Volleyball Club for the season.

All athletes must register with Volleyball Alberta as a 2025 Youth Development Player prior to tryouts. There is a small fee to register. Please go to Volleyball Alberta, Registration, Membership Registration and create sign up as a 2025 Youth Development Player-Tryouts. https://canada.sportsmanager.ie/sportlomo/registration/member-registration/club/12526 Every athlete will be given a 8 digit Member ID that is required prior to tryouts

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

We have also developed a schedule with the other clubs in the region to eliminate any overlap of tryout times and dates. Every athlete will be able to attend the tryout of their choice.

LOI (letter of intent)

Volleyball Alberta guidelines state an offer (LOI) must be honoured by the club for a MINIMUM 48 hours. This means that athletes have 48 hours from the time the offer was given to accept or decline. They can even request an extension if they require more time to make their decision.

We have extended this period for 2025 tryouts. 
Athletes will have until the Friday at 10pm OF YOUR TRYOUT WEEK to accept or decline an offer from VERTICAL LIMIT, VELOCITY, AND SPVC volleyball clubs. Of course, if you have an offer and you wish to sign, you do not have to wait.
